First Steps: Introduction to Meditation
Our Introduction to Meditation courses are designed to give you a clear understanding of how and why meditation works — and a range of practical techniques that can be integrated into even the busiest of lifestyles.
Grounded in the latest neuro-scientific research, these techniques can be used to develop:

In each class you will be introduced to two meditations; the first a ‘bodywork’ practice to relax and calm the mind, and then a fresh technique that provides you with opportunities to discover which forms of meditation suit your own individual tastes and needs.
Weekly course materials are provided, along with the guided meditation CD First Steps in the Journey to Peace of Mind by Sydney Meditation Centre Director and course instructor, Kevin Hume.
